With the warm weather upon us and shoes tossed off, we sometimes forget that other neighborhood creatures appreciate this time of year as well.  Always be alert in your yard and patio areas that rattlesnakes are active this time of year.  They love to get warm on or near rocks, and they easily blend into their surroundings.  Be careful where you put your feet and hands.  You don't want to startle one of our more dangerous creatures.

BURN BAN STILL IN EFFECT

Just a reminder that Travis County is still under a BURN BAN. This burn ban is not set to expire until May 4th, 2011.  

Outdoor fires and fire pit usage are not allowed. As a result, S'mores have been replaced by Root Beer Floats for Beach Club Activities on Saturday nights.

For the safety of yourself, your family, and the Hollows owners and guests, please adhere to this notice. The City of Jonestown will administer fines to those who choose not to follow this ordinance.
